Donation Attendant
As a Donation Attendant, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring our donation operations run smoothly, helping to sort, manage, and process incoming items while providing excellent service to our donors. This is a great role for someone who wants to stay active in a dynamic and hands-on work environment!
Responsibilities:
- Donation Management: Open and close the donation area at the start and end of each day; assist donors in unloading their donations and provide friendly service; politely decline items on the “Do Not Accept” list; coordinate with a supervisor to inspect furniture donations for quality and ensure there is available space in the store; provide tax receipts to donors; perform preliminary sorting of donations to facilitate processing.
- Property & Truck Maintenance: Conduct light property maintenance, including trash pickup around the store’s exterior; regularly take out the trash in and operate the trash compactor; load and unload box trucks containing recycling or garbage.

As a Clothing Hanger/Tagger, you’ll play a key role in preparing our donated goods to hit the sales floor. This is a great role for someone who enjoys organizing, merchandising, and contributing to a great cause!
Responsibilities:
- Processing & Preparation: Sort clothing and accessories into appropriate categories; inspect items for quality, discarding those that are over-worn, over-washed, ripped, torn, stretched, stained, smelly, or otherwise unsellable; identify items on the “Do Not Sell” list and remove them accordingly; and safely and respectfully use store supplies, including utility belts and tagging guns, according to operational guidelines.
- Tagging & Organization: Neatly hang items by category and ensure they are tagged in preparation for pricing; see that all items are presented in a manner that is attractive and easy for customers to browse.
- Workspace & Team: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace to promote efficient operations and ensure safety; assist other backroom staff as needed to support overall workflow and operations.

As a Donation Sorter, you’ll ensure that we offer well-priced, high-quality items to our customers while supporting animal welfare causes! Truck Driver
As a Truck Driver, you’ll keep our operations running smoothly by transporting goods, recycling materials, and supporting warehouse and donation logistics. This role is great for someone who enjoys a mix of driving, hands-on work, and being part of a mission-driven team!
Responsibilities:
- Transportation & Logistics: Operate company box trucks to transport merchandise, recycling, and materials between store locations, warehouses, and donation centers; conduct regular recycling drop-offs (clothing, electronics, metals, chemicals) and dump runs as needed; follow established routes and schedules, while accommodating occasional adjustments for special projects or seasonal needs; assist with donation pickups or deliveries as necessary.
- Loading & Unloading Support: Assist with loading and unloading of merchandise and recycling materials to ensure safe and efficient handling; secure loads properly to ensure safety during transport; support warehouse and donation sorting teams with material handling tasks when not driving.
- Safety & Maintenance: Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report and address any maintenance issues or safety concerns with vehicles or equipment; adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure safety and compliance.
